The Maynard Holbrook Jackson High School Performing Arts Department is officially entered to be a part of the high school musical theatre competition also known as the Schuler Awards. We are very excited about the opportunity to showcase all of the acting, singing, and dancing talent at Maynard Jackson. We started a tradition last year with our production of "The Wonderful Wiz" last year and we realized that we can produce a professional quality product.
However, we still need funds for our production. We need microphones, some costume pieces, and funds to purchase the performance rights for "Once on This Island." We have projects on the non-profit Donors Choose website: https://www.donorschoose.org/
