Do you know any college-bound students pursuing degrees in music, dance, theatre, visual arts, writing or graphic design? Let them know about the National Association for College Admission Counseling’s (NACAC) Atlanta Performing and Visual Arts College Fair. The event will be hosted by ArtsBridge Foundation on Monday, September 25th at Cobb Energy Performing Arts CentreThere will be a workshop on College Admission 101 from 6-6:45 pm and the Fair is from 7-9 pm. Both are free and open to the public.

Although a growing number of students are pursuing college degrees in performing and visual arts, few resources exist for artistically inclined students as they plan their college careers. NACAC’s Performing and Visual Arts College Fairs, offered in 25 locations throughout the country, fill that gap by providing attendees a chance to learn about educational opportunities tailored to their interests.Students get to meet one-on-one with admission representatives from colleges, universities, conservatories, studios, festivals, and other educational institutions with specialized programs in the arts. Information about financial aid, portfolio days, and audition and entrance requirements are also available.

"ArtsBridge is excited to partner with NACAC to bring this performing and visual arts college fair to Atlanta," said Jennifer Dobbs Hill, Executive Director of ArtsBridge Foundation. "Our city and state are filled with so many talented high school students who will have the opportunity to meet with college representatives and learn about how they can pursue a degree that matches their passion for the arts."

For more information about the fair, including a full schedule of participating schools, fields of study for schools in attendance, pre-fair informational sessions, and registration information visit: https://www.nacacfairs.org/pva/.  Students are encouraged to register before the event.
