Fernbank's annual outdoor Halloween experience, Woodland Spirits, is back for its sixth year. Join in the haunting fun from Saturday, September 30th through Sunday, November 5th. Just imagine you can walk through WildWoods and encounter different specters lurking and floating along the boardwalk, from ghostly figures to mysterious animal spirits. Trust and believe Woodland Spirits is a frightfully fun time for all ages. This is where you can find your family fun!
Walk on the supernatural side with Fernbank’s annual Halloween display. Drawing inspiration from the dark forests of movies, literature, and other tales, Woodland Spirits evokes mystery, adventure, and imagination during the Halloween season through commissioned sculptures created by artist Laura Lewis.
From ghostly figures peeking from the shadows to mysterious animal spirits haunting in plain sight, this experience gives Halloween fans of all ages something to scream (in delight) about. Encounter dozens of “spirits" along the nature trails of WildWoods: A Glow and Fernbank Forest Night Walk as you imagine the tales of their past.
