NEW! Giant Panda Mornings |  Mondays, Fridays, and select Saturdays and Sundays in October

Enjoy exclusive access to the public viewing area of the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation Giant Panda Conservation Center before the Zoo opens. Take a short, guided tour with a Zoo Educator, interact with biofacts, and write a farewell before the pandas travel to China.

African Elephant Wild Encounters   |  Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays at 2 p.m.

Meet and feed Kelly or Tara with our African elephant behind-the-scenes experience. 

Lemur Wild Encounters  |  Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 11 a.m. 

Meet and feed one of the iconic primates of the island of Madagascar.

Warthog Wild Encounters  |  Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays at 1 p.m.

Meet and feed a warthog a favorite snack, and get a behind-the-scenes look at the warthogs’ care.

Petting Zoo Painters Wild Encounters  |  Saturdays at 3:15 p.m.

Join one of our animal artists, meeting either a “Van Goat” or a “Baaahlo,” and take home a unique work of art in this all-new experience.

Giraffe Feeding  |  10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily, weather permitting and subject to animal care needs

Feed one of Earth’s tallest mammals from Twiga Terrace.

Adventure Cubs  | October 5th and October 17th

Little ones ages 2 to 5 and their favorite grownups enjoy a visit to an animal habitat, games, stories, singalongs, and more. Our October theme is Zesty Zebras!

Panda Palooza  |  October 5th

Please share your favorite memories of 25 years of giant pandas at Zoo Atlanta and sign farewell cards for Lun Lun, Yang Yang, Ya Lun, and Xi Lun before they embark on their next adventure in mid-October. Free with general admission.

Family Pride Day | October 6th

Explore the rainbow of diversity in the natural world with special family activities. Activities are free with general admission.

Twilight Trek | October 10th

Tour the Zoo at dusk, use night-vision technology, search for animals you might not see during the day, and more during an evening adventure for the entire family.

Boo at the Zoo presented by Georgia Natural Gas | October 19th, 20th, 26th, and 27th
